Anyone else scrambling like a mother to get class valentines ready this week? 🤣 Well, I did it! I stayed up almost all night, but I was successful in putting together 23 DIY class valentines. I fell in love with the hot cocoa bomb trend this holiday season, and thought that would make a great class valentine for my 11 year old daughter. I figured out a really fun and easy way to gift wrap them for Valentine’s Day. Check it out!
I recently acquired a new Explosion Board by We R Memory Keepers, so I just couldn’t pass up the chance to gift wrap hot cocoa BOMBS in EXPLOSION boxes, now could I?
Now before you get any ideas, I just want to clarify that I did NOT make these scrumptious hot cocoa bombs. I lucked out when it comes to next door neighbors, and she made two dozen of them for me! Check out my girl Christine Cox from CeCe’s Chocolate on Etsy here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/CecesChocolates
What I DID make are the explosion boxes and the gift tags to match. The We R Memory Keepers Explosion Board made it easy to mass produce the boxes with cute heart corners to boot. You can find a video I filmed on the We R YouTube channel that shares how to use the board HERE. I created the tags in photoshop, then printed them and punched them out with my 2 inch Circle Clear Cut Punch. I used my Crop-A-Dile Multi Punch to make holes for tying with twine. I have a FREE PRINTABLE for you if you’d like to make your own tags. You can download it below.
Once you print these on some smooth white cardstock, you can punch them out with a 2 inch circle or square paper punch. These are perfect for bath bombs too!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope this idea has inspired your Valentine’s or Galentine’s Day crafting. Scroll down for links to buy.
