One of the many things I love about the warm summer months is gathering with family and friends for a good old barbecue. If you’re planning a barbecue sometime during the summer, here’s an idea for a fun and unique invite.
I used the new Mason Jar Die (along with a free printable invite that you can download HERE) to create the front of the invitation.
First I printed the text for the invite, and then I lined it up in the windows or the mason jar die and taped the paper to the die so it stayed in place. Then I placed the die on the platform with the paper facing upward–that way the embossing shows up really well.
Then I used my Envelope Punch Board to create the pocket part of the invite. I followed the directions on the punch board to create a 3×4 envelope and then trimmed off the top flap.
I slipped in some plastic utensils wrapped in a paper napkin, and it’s ready to go!
